Early Tourist Visa Processing

If you wish to use the early Russian tourist visa processing method described below, please send a request for this as soon as possible.

Please mention your Swedish/Danish/Norwegian university and the trip that you are registered for when requesting early visa processing.

russia@matka-niinimaki.fi

Once we receive your request for Early Visa Processing, we will send you specific and simple instructions by e-mail about how to complete this.

In some cases, getting your Russian tourist visa processed before the Paper Work & Payment Meetings may be necessary. Especially if you have trips planned before your Road Trip to Russia, outside of Sweden that requires you to have your passport.

Early Russian tourist visa processing is an option, and this requires that you send your passport, completed visa application, passport pictures (and any other documents) to us by registered mail, express mail, or DHL courier.

We strongly recommend that everyone, especially those of you from outside the European Union, take advantage of the Early Visa Processing possibility – have the visa processing over and done with as soon as possible!

Early Visa Processing does NOT cost anything extra, other than the postage fees to send your documents to us, and the return postage fees to send your passport back to you.

Early Russian tourist visa processing may be done before Thursday 1 March 2012. If your Russian tourist visa is processed early, you may have your passport sent back to you by registered mail, express mail, or DHL courier at further expense. The other option is that we return your passport to you at the Paper Work & Payment meeting at your university.

This will not cost anything extra.

Postal options for document sending and approximate costs
